Interns who have completed one or more Intern Abroad HQ programs receive a 10% discount off their Deposit for all subsequent programs. This discount is automatically applied when the Deposit is paid.

Interns who have completed one or more Intern Abroad HQ programs receive a 10% discount off their Registration Fee for IVHQ programs. This discount is automatically applied when the Registration Fee is paid.

Volunteers who have completed one or more IVHQ programs receive a 10% discount off their Deposit for an internship abroad or remote internship program with Intern Abroad HQ. This discount is automatically applied when the Deposit is paid.

If a new intern registers for multiple Intern Abroad HQ programs or a combination of Intern Abroad HQ and IVHQ programs, they will receive a 10% discount off the standard Deposit or Registration Fee for their second or subsequent Registration Fee or Deposit payments.

Discounts are not accumulative, so if the volunteer is entitled to more than one discount, only the higher value discount will be applied.

If a volunteer cancels from an Intern Abroad HQ program or IVHQ program and is eligible for a Deposit or Registration Fee refund or credit, the value of their refund or credit will be equivalent to the discounted fee actually paid, less any fees normally associated with a cancellation.

Interns or volunteers who have completed one or more Intern Abroad HQ or IVHQ programs are automatically enrolled into the Intern Abroad HQ Referral program. No application to join is required.

Upon completion of their first Intern Abroad HQ or IVHQ program, participants will be provided with a personal referral code through their MyInternHQ or MyIVHQ account.

Participants may provide their personal referral code to friends, family members, co-workers, or fellow students to encourage them to intern with Intern Abroad HQ or volunteer with IVHQ.

Referral codes must be entered on the Intern Abroad HQ or IVHQ application form when prompted and can only be used the first time the intern or volunteer applies to Intern Abroad HQ or IVHQ. Referral codes cannot be added after an application has been submitted and cannot be used by interns or volunteers who have already registered for or completed an Intern Abroad HQ or IVHQ program.

When the referral code has been added to an Intern Abroad HQ application, that intern’s Registration Fee will be discounted by 10%.

When the referral code has been added to an IVHQ application, that volunteer’s Registration Fee will be discounted by 10%.

When an intern pays their deposit or a volunteer registers using a referral code, the MyInternHQ or MyIVHQ account of the person whose referral code was used will be credited with $50 USD. This credit will then become redeemable once the referred intern or volunteer has paid their Program Fee in full.

Redeemable credits may be used against the payment of the referrer’s own Deposit/Registration Fee or Program Fee payments. Credits may not be transferred to others.

All referral code credits expire twenty four months after they are issued, or at Intern Abroad HQ’s discretion.

Should an intern or volunteer who has used a referral code subsequently cancel their registration, any credits related to that registration will be canceled.

Referral codes must not be shared or posted publicly online via social media channels, online forums, or websites. Referral codes may only be shared privately via direct message to interested contacts on social media channels or via email. Any referral codes that are posted publicly online, or shared in any ways that Intern Abroad HQ deems are contrary to the objectives of the Intern Abroad HQ Referral program, will be canceled and any discounts or credits due to the volunteer or those who have used the referral code will be canceled.

Interns or volunteers cannot use their own referral code themselves.

Only one referral code or discount may be applied to each registration, and referral codes may not be used in conjunction with any other discounts.
